Our network consists of more than 150 individual and organisational partners in more than 15 African countries. WGNRR Africa’s engagement with its partners differs within sub-regions and countries depending on the local status of SRHR and the most appropriate way WGNRR Africa can share knowledge, experiences and skills between partners and where required, provide capacity building support. Currently, we have strong engagement with partners in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, Burundi, DR Congo and Nigeria.
We strengthened skills and supported more than 120 grassroots CSOs in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, DRC and Nigeria to develop and implement evidence and right-based advocacy and campaign strategies that resulted in policy changes and attitude transformation around SRHR in their respective countries and communities.

We have connected more than 75 grassroots CSOs advocating for SRHR in our 7 African countries of our strong engagement that resulted in the establishment of 5 national and cross-national networks of grassroots organizations collectively advancing SRHR in their respective countries and amplifying the voice of grassroots communities in national and (sub) regional advocacy spaces such as ICPD+25 and SADC summit.

We have shared resources and communication materials including toolkits, call for actions, infographics, policy briefs, and videos, that have been critical to strengthen knowledge, to mobilize communities and express communities’ needs and concerns.
