#YouCan – Kenya
On 17th May, YouCAN partners in Kenya (Zamara Foundation and YEM Kenya) organised a Twitter chat and Twitter space to give the spotlight to the recent ruling (#MalindiCase) on the illegality of arresting girls, women and health care workers for accessing and providing Abortion related services respectively.
The Twitter engagement brought together organisations that were actively involved in the case like CRR, RHN, SRHR Kenya Alliance, TICAH, Women First Digital, Safe2choose, Pink Shoes which participated in addressing and disseminating the Malindi case judgement.
